Some very mild shelfwear at bottom edge, only visible from beneath. No DJ. Title page undated. Copyright page (opposite title page, not overleaf) dated only 1959, with LOC number and no ISBN. If you cover the high-tide line, there is no difference in color on the endpapers. A very slight water-ripple to a final few pages -- we did not notice it at all until finding the stain on the inside cover and then working backwards. Hanrahan bibliography A36 does not offer First Printing ID for copy without DJ - although 'Harper & Brothers' was a short-lived moniker; they became Harper & Company in 1962.
