Hardcover. Condition: Poor. No Jacket. Not falling apart but falls into the reading copy only sort of category due to a significant water incident. This has severely stained the front cover and inside the top bound corner of a fair few pages have a blackish mould stain. Undated. A romantic story, set in the Balkans, of a gypsy girl travelling with an old blind beggar who meets up with a young French artist who has to go on the run and join the Foreign Legion after killing a German baron.
Hard Cover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. A French artist meets, and travels with, a gipsy girl and a blind beggar. When he kills a Baron in a quarrel, he escapes to Morocco and joins the Foreign Legion. Will the girl follow? Fifth printing, December 1933. Bumped and rubbed, spine and upper edge of the boards sunned. Binding square and solid, previous owner's name inside and a bookstore sticker on the rear pastedown.
