These 'fiction' works are 'dramatized memoirs' if the period 1929-1933 when Isherwood lived in Berlin. The episodes are comic in a way that reveals truths about Hitler's Germany, truths not so clear in history books. Isherwood was British and became a US citizen. Good. No dust jacket as issued.
