About the Author:
Linda Newberry won the COSTA CHILDREN'S BOOK OF THE YEAR AWARD in 2006 and, for CATCALL, the SILVER AWARD in the 2007 NESTLE CHILDREN'S BOOK PRIZE. Born in Essex, Linda now lives in an Oxfordshire village with her husband and cats. When she isn't writing, she enjoys gardening, yoga, swimming, walking and reading. She regularly speaks at conferences and conducts writing workshops.
