“Anyone who accuses the church of being disconnected from its community, never met David Crosby and the incredible people of First Baptist Church, New Orleans. With their sleeves rolled up, they demonstrate the gospel weekly as they meet the needs of their neighbors. They show the rest of us what it means to really love other people – in tangible, specific, sacrificial ways. This book is more than their story. It’s a call to action for every church to obey Jesus’ instructions to love neighbors, enemies, and outsiders. Read it and accept the challenge!”―Dr. Jeff Iorg, President, Golden Gate Seminary
