About the Author:

Julia Bennetsen has more than six years of tax experience and is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s State and Local Tax Committee. Laurence is a member and past chairman of the Philadelphia Bar Association State and Local Tax Committee, is on the Philadelphia Revenue Commissioner’s Tax Advisory Council and is a member of the advisory boards of the Tax Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Philadelphia Tax Reform Commission. Gerard Glynn has more than 20 years of tax experience, is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Pennsylvania, and is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Rachel V. Goc has more than six years of tax experience and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bucknell University. Ulrich Schmidt is affiliated with IAMC and the Pennsylvania Economic Development Association. Howard Sklaroff has over 18 years of extensive and diverse experience in multistate corporate income, franchise and sales and use tax matters. He is a former chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association State and Local Tax Committee and is a member of the PICPA State and Local Tax Committee. Glenn Todd has more than thirteen years of combined state and local tax experience and has authored numerous articles and publications on various state and local tax topics. Chau Tran has more than nine years of tax experience, is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Pennsylvania, and is a member of both the AICPA and the PICPA. Andrew VandenBrul has more than fifteen years of experience in multi-state tax planning, is co-chair of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce State and Local Tax Committee, and was a member of the Philadelphia Tax Reform Commission. Robert Van Gulick has more than 20 years of experience serving clients of various sizes and industries and is a member of multiple professional organizations, including the AICPA, the PICPA, and the Eastern Technology Council of Pennsylvania. Jason Wade was a regional editor for the 2002, 2003 and 2004 editions of the American Bar Association’s State and Local Tax Lawyer annual publication. Kimberley Wick has more than eighteen years of sales and transaction tax experience in public accounting, private industry and government, and is a member of the Institute of Professionals in Taxation.
