About the Author:
Douglas Wood is the author of A Quiet Place as well as the New York Times bestselling Can’t Do series. His books Old Turtle and Old Turtle and the Broken Truth were both international bestsellers. Elizabeth Sayles has illustrated more than twenty books for children, including The Goldfish Yawned, which she also wrote. It was chosen as the Bank Street College Best Children’s Book for 2005.
