In the Arms of Grace is the powerful story of a modern woman warrior and a Vietnamese and an American she provides a link between the two nations through her life experiences.

The Vietnam War was LeChristine Hai’s introduction to life. After she came to America, she experienced another war, a war with no name. There was no killing or physical combat - no guns or grenades. It was a war that slowly wounded the spirit and destroyed the soul.

As a Vietnamese and an American, LeChristine Hai provides a link between the two nations through her life experiences in her new book, IN THE ARMS OF GRACE: One Saved Child’s Journey, (published by UniVoice Publishing, May, 2003). From her days as an orphan in Vietnam where she sang and danced for American G.I.’s to her "ideal" life of having it all in the United States, LeChristine constantly searched for love, security and belonging.

This "rags to riches" tale tells the true story of a little girl who desperately tried to please others and yet yearned to be heard. Even as she grew into a beautiful young woman with every material advantage, she was still that little girl, always trying to please others and yearning to be heard. LeChristine Hai takes us on a powerful journey, filled with unexpected twists and turns, of a modern woman warrior and her battles for physical, emotional and spiritual victory.

About the Author:
LeChristine Hai, an orphan at the age of four, was born in Vietnam and escaped to America in 1975 at the age of ten. She grew up appreciating and valuing American culture, but she also experienced the dark side of familial love and material wealth. Having survived one war, she found that battles do not always involve guns and grenades. Faced with discrimination, adversity, and the long-term emotional damage inflicted by the Vietnam War, LeChristine’s story is one of courage and conviction.

A Communications graduate of Southern Methodist University, schooled in the corporate world by Milliken and Company, LeChristine eventually began to live her own American Dream. She became an entrepreneur, building high-end homes from $500K to $1 Million in Atlanta with Award Winning results. She and her company were recognized in Builder/Architect Magazine as a success story in living the "American Dream".

Today, LeChristine has launched a campaign to "give back" to other orphans, and to rebuild her orphanage home in Vietnam. A collaborative effort named the ‘Peace Project,’ was started to promote healing and reconciliation between United States and Vietnam. As a professional speaker and author, LeChristine is now on a global tour to deliver this healing message to America and to inspire corporations and churches that a child can make a difference.

She currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
