This project began with authors getting together to make a difference in the so-called state of African American literature. The end result is nourishing the reading community with a piece of literature that provides a significant upside to a life that otherwise might have been wasted if it had not have been for the mercy and the grace of the Creator.

About the Author:

In addition to being the editor of Even Sinners Have Souls, E.N. Joy blesses the literary industry and gives all glory to God in her multi-genre writings of children's, young adult humor, poetry and urban Christian fiction works. She is the author of the children's picture book, The Secret Olivia Told Me, published by Just Us Books Fall 2007. Look for her young adult series titled The Soul Sisters, which is a hilarious adventure about Tocara, Alanta and Eva Soul-three sisters who can't agree on anything; not even the day of the week. In the first book, "Operation Get Rid of Mom's New Boyfriend," the girls create a three-ring circus to do just that-get rid of their mom's new boyfriend. In addition to working on her own literary contributions, E.N. Joy is the executive editor for Urban Christian, an imprint under Urban Books/Kensington Publishing. E.N. Joy is excited to have added the title of a columnist to her resume for her work in NOIRE Magazine with her feature column, "The Urban Altar."

Before being obedient to her calling to minister the word of God through her own written word, E.N. Joy had written and published over a dozen other titles in multi-genres under other names. But now she is glad to be walking in her promise now that she has said "yes" to what God wants her to do with her talent.
