Animals Need Zzz's, Too - Softcover

Patricia A. Britz was Program Director at the National Sleep Foundation (NSF) for seven years where she wrote numerous articles and public education materials on sleep and presented at national professional conferences and school board meetings. She developed NSF"s website, <1>Sleep for Kids<1> and offered educational programs to sleep centers across the country.

Ms. Britz has Master degrees in Education and Public Management with a focus on health from Carnegie-Mellon University. She has developed programs on health issues for patients and the public for over 30 years and has co-authored scientific journal articles on sleep-related topics.

"Animals Need Zzz's, Too," a non-fiction children's picture book, illustrates the interesting ways that animals sleep. It encourages children to think about how and why people sleep the way they do by learning about how animals sleep. Children will identify with these animals and learn about the importance of sleep and its impact on their lives.
