From School Library Journal:
PreSchool-K-A collection of stories that ranges from the inane to the odd. The selections describe teddy bears who talk, help kids get well, and who used to be circus performers. On the eclectic side, there are tales about a soldier coming home from war who can't smile until he sees his old teddy bear in the window, and one about a prince's stuffed bear who will never know what love is. The texts are obviously short and unadorned. The full-color illustrations are carefully detailed but somewhat static, featuring lots of wide-eyed kids and adults who look like they're in disguise. An additional purchase, unless you have patron demand for stories that can be read at a stop light.
